On Aug. 22, the people of Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, and Knollwood will be invited to unite in a unique way: they will all watch the same movie.

They will be enthralled as a familiar story unfolds. They will thrill anew as the heroes and heroines encounter excitement, love, friendship, danger, and suspense. They will root for those on the side of goodness, truth, perseverance, acceptance, and courage. They will emerge uplifted, energized, and renewed.

What is this movie? We're not telling.

Not yet, at least. Watch for more information around town on signboards, in parades, in newspapers and online media and at bridges3.org.

The name of the movie will be announced in early August.   There will be public showings of the mystery movie on Aug. 22, and those who can't make it are encouraged to rent the movie and watch it with friends and family (that is, once you know what movie it is ...).

There will be online discussions to participate in as well.
