The Vectra 3D Imaging system captures an ultra-high resolution image of each patient, which is then uploaded into a computer with advanced 3D imaging software. Using the technology, Dr. Epstein and Dr. Gutowski are able to provide patients with a simulated image of the likely outcome of a number of cosmetic procedures including breast augmentation, facial rejuvenation and body contouring. With the Vectra 3D imaging system, the image can be viewed from all angles. This can be very useful for patients interested in breast augmentation.  Specific implant size can be altered throughout the imaging process so that patients can see a variety of sizes for a better idea of how they may look after the procedure.

The Vectra 3D imaging system also offers precise details regarding the surface anatomy of any cosmetic procedure by displaying linear and volumetric measurements on “before-and-after” images, allowing patients to make side-by-side comparisons.  The simulation technology can help develop realistic expectations by allowing patients to better communicate their specific aesthetic enhancement goals.
