Members of an exchange to Azerbaijan sponsored by Friendship Force(FF)  Northern, Illinois recently visited Yanar Dag, the “Burning Mountain” on the  the Caspian Seanear Baku.

This natural repository of methane gas has burned continuously for 2,500 years. It may have provided the inspiration for Zoroaster and other fire-worshippers through time.  

Friendship Force of Northern Illinois is one of 350 clubs worldwide which promote global travel and cultural exchanges. This unique style of travel connects people from different countries at a personal level.
