Prompted by Paul Melichar’s interest in the forgotten Dorothy Hobbs Boehm sculptures in the garden at Gorton Community Center, the Woodlands Garden Club, with the collaboration of Rocco Fiore & Sons, Inc. and the City of Lake Forest have just completed the redesign of the front entrance garden at Gorton.
Last Wednesday night, there was a small reception with Blair Nagel, the Chairman of Gorton, thanking the Woodlands Garden Club, Steve Fiore, vice president; Tim Ball, Landscape Design Manager from Rocco Fiore & Sons, Inc., and the City of Lake Forest.
It is now such a pleasure to drive in the entrance of Gorton and see the two sculptures and the new beautiful garden.
