Wife of Frank J. Waldeck, Mother of the late Ann, Fred (Anne), James (Kathleen), Joseph (Catherine), Thomas (Nancy), the late William (Lisa), Mary (Joseph) McMahon, Carol (Michael) Lyons, Grandmother of 21, Great-Grandmother of 1, Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
No Visitation. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 28) at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest.
Interment is at Lake Forest Cemetery. Please omit flowers; contributions can be made to School of St. Mary.

Our community has lost a true jewel. Mrs. Waldeck was there for me at a time when no one else at school cared. I shall always remember her kindness and thoughtful words, and how it got me through a difficult time. Let us celebrate everything she gave to our community.
