Breaking Turkey News: Sightings of New Bird

Moms taking their kids to school this morning spotted a turkey at Route 176 and Waukegan Road.

The turkey that led to the publication of a children's book and followers of a Facebook page is gone.

But there may be a replacement in the wings, so to speak.

Callers to Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch Tuesday morning said a turkey was spotted at the intersection of Route 176 and Waukegan Road or just a tad west of the location where the infamous Lake Bluff Turkey hung out last spring and summer.

Dan was nice enolugh to send in a photo taken at the Mobil station at the northwest corner of Route 176 and Waukegan Road.

Do you have a photo to share?

The Turkey is making it's way east. I saw it in front of Mariani yesterday.
