It's time for our weekly Chowdown showdown!

This week, we are on the hunt for the best place for brunch in the Grayslake, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Libertyville area.

You know the drill: All you need to do is sign into our site and then comment below with your vote. Feel free to elaborate on why this place's brunch is fabulous, leave them a review.

You have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to let us know your favorite go-to place for a good sandwich.

On Wednesday morning, we will post the top three finalists — determined by your votes in this article, on Facebook and on Twitter — in a poll. And it will be time to vote again — this time for the weekly Best Of champion.

Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Friday. We will post the Showdown winner first thing Saturday morning.

Sound good? Great. Now lets get the voting rolling. Where do you think has the best brunch in the Grayslake, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Libertyville area?

Alek's Jazz Brunch in Lake Bluff provides good food and live jazz music for a great price.

Thanks for your votes, Jill and Margaret. How about the rest of you? Where do you go for brunch on the weekend? Is it Deerpath? Alek's?

The Grille on Laurel in Lake Forest is our favorite local place for brunch. Great tasting, just $14.95 for adults. Homemade ice cream, bread pudding, and chocolate dipped stawberries complete the event.

It's the Grill both in great food and price! The Deepath brunch has become very overpriced so we were glad to try the Grill on Laurelas an alternate. Try the Grill!

Well worth the price though. Jumbo shrimp, love the sushi, prime rib and leg of lamb!

The Anderson Family sent in an email with this recommendation: "Alex's is a great casual place in Lake Bluff. However, the best brunch in town for classic ambiance, great food, and very reasonable, yummy food, is The Grille, in Lake Forest!"

Deer Path Inn, Lake Forest best brunch in my opinion. Price is $38 but you get the best selections.
