City Council Candidates Run Unopposed

Profiles provide information to help voters gain insight.

 

Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch is providing each candidate an opportunity to provide information about themselves for voter's to use in making an informed decision on Election Day, April 5.

For more information on the Lake Forest Aldermanic race, visit the Lake Forest Caucus website and the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff League of Women Voters website.

Candidates were unable to submit their profiles, and asked to have voters view their profiles on the Lake Forest Caucus website.

Candidate Donald Schoenheider was featured in a Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch article when he assumed the Third Ward seat vacated by Greg Hanrahan, who resigned after he moved from the Third Ward to the First Ward.

Wait, they're running unopposed, yet this article alleges that because Patch wrote this story it will help people make a more informed decision? Hilarious! Nothing like being more informed in a race where the candidates have no opposition!

I see your point. The bottom line to any election is for the voter to take the steps to be informed, so for at least this race, we're providing those means as much as is possible given the absence of submitted profiles. Thanks for your comment.
