Why should the president make this tragedy a photo op for himself? Don"t the families have enough to deal without politician(s) giving there own political spin. Do something that will be less shameful then taking advantage of personal tragedies. How low can one go?

It is possible that there is no way the President can react to this tragedy without being accused of either NOT making a statement on the event or USING the event as a photo op? He'll receive criticism either way, so he has evidently decided the right thing to do is to make a statement of concern and condolence for the people involved.

I agree with Shirley. I seems that some will try to use the Presidents reaction to this tragedy in the same way that ol' Mr. Burns is accusing Obama.....an opportunity. In this case its not a photo-op, but rather a means to criticise!
