Driver Goes off Road, Gets Stuck in Mud

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Accident Assistance 

Police came to the aid of a person who drove off Waukegan Road near North Shore Drive and became stuck in the mud Tuesday, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. The driver told police a rock hit the windshield causing the person to drive off the road, hit the curb and get stuck in the mud. The car had to be towed. The person was not injured. 

Driver’s License Infractions 

Emir Samajlovic, 19, of Prospect Heights was arrested Tuesday for driving with a suspended license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff police reports. Police clocked Samajlovic going 56 miles per hour in a 40-per-mile hour zone on Green Bay Road near West Washington Avenue. After the stop, police learned Samajlovic’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. April 2 in Park City.
