The Forest Park Project Board will update the public on its progress at an open forum set for 7 p.m. Tuesday (May 24) at the Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, in Lake Forerst.

The board has released an interim report prepared by the Board's Landscape and Horticulture Advisory Committee as part of the on-going efforts to develop a
long-term plan to rehabilitate, enhance and preserve Forest Park.

Representatives from the Landscape and Horticulture Committee, along
with those from the Historic Preservation and Engineering and Technical
Committees, will discuss their interim reports.
