I'm glad we were able to spotlight Ted's neigbor, Mike Dau, who has built a national championship caliber handball team at Lake Forest College during his long tenure at the school.

Here's to local treasure Lake Forest College alumnus, continuing learner (now in a History course), former athletic director, former football coach, and long-time outstanding winning handball coach Mike Dau, Lake forest College Class of 1958. MIke remains in touch with literally hundreds of his sports alumni. His enthusiasm and sense of the past is vividly portrayed in the College's Athletic Hall of Fame and in the series of 1950s and since faculty emeriti (retired professors) plaques that he and his alumna spouse Paula donated, on view in Donnelley and Lee Library, Middle Campus, reference room. Thank you, Mike and Paula!!!
