There are also several shopping events planned for the downtown area.

During the Lake Forest tree lighting ceremony in Market Square on November 23 there will be hot cocoa, Santa and shopping as stores will offer special discounts to get your season started.

On December 1 in Lake Bluff retailers will be offering special promotions, while Santa and his live reindeer visit with children, horse-drawn carriages parade through downtown and the annual gazebo lighting caps off the evening.
