Lake Bluff Brewing Co. to Offer Outdoor Service Area
Village Board approves amendment to liquor license.
Lake Bluff Brewing Co. will soon have an outdoor service area where patrons can sip their beverages in the sun, or in the evening.
The Lake Bluff Village Board voted April 11 to amend the company’s Class Y liquor license in order to allow the outdoor area to be created.
Lake Bluff Brewing Co. will now be allowed to create seating space for approximately 15 patrons, while still maintaining adequate pedestrian access to the sidewalk. The outdoor service period will extend from April 1 to Oct. 31 annually, and no later than 11 p.m..
Trustee Rick Lesser said the village had seen no law enforcement problems with outdoor dining in the Village in the past, and there was no reason the lake Bluff Brewing Co. shouldn’t be allowed to have this service as well.
Previously, Noodle Bar was permitted to serve patrons outdoors between July through November. The restaurant will now be able to offer outdoor dining beginning in April.
Inovasi will now be allowed to set up eight tables outside their restaurant, as long as adequate sidewalk space for pedestrians is cleared at all times.
