Lake Forest Baseball Association's (LFBA) 11 Blue Scouts brought home the first-place trophy from the Ken-Win Memorial Day Tournament.
After sweeping their division with wins against Glenview Blue (12-1), Glenview Red (10-5), and Ken-Win Blue (13-2), the 11 Blue Scouts advanced to the championship against Glenview White on May 27.
The 11 Blue Scouts' posted a 17-7 victory over Glenview White.
The team is coachedFrank Berry (11 Blue head coach), Brandon Moccia and Ethan Andrews (11 Blue assistant coaches).
The 9U-12U LFBA Scouts teams also participated in Memorial Day Tournaments across Lake and Cook counties. The 10 Blue Scouts team took fourth place in the Libertyville Memorial Day Tournament, losing 7-5 to Oak Park.
