Lake Forest Advances to State Lacrosse Semifinals
Scouts' third-quarter barrage buries Glenbrook North.

The Final Score: Lake Forest 13, Glenbrook North 6
Top Scout Performers: Andrew Clifford scored a hat trick and teammates Joe Kurschner and Sam Moran added a pair each to propel the Lake Forest offense.
Other Notable Scout Performers: Scouts goalie Ethan Ulmer turned back the Glenbrook North attack repeatedly, and single goals were added by Jack Wright, Ryan Tupper, Conor Walters, Chris Janeck and Matt Wagener.
The Bottom Line: The Scouts (20-2) scored five unanswered goals in the third quarter to gain an 11-2 advantage. Lake Forest played its backup players in the fourth quarter when the Spartans scored a few late goals. Lake Forest advances to the State semifinals to face Waubonsie Valley on Thursday (May 31) at Lake Forest. The State championship game is 6 p.m. June 2 at Palatine High School.
