Textbook Information, Register for E-Newsletter
Transcript office closes June 9 for summer.
All Lake Forest High School students and parents (incoming freshmen and rising sophomore, juniors, seniors) are encouraged to sign up for/to update preferences for the LFHS E-Newsletter. Important information for “Back to School 2012-2013” will be sent in early August to those who have signed up for E-News. The LFHS Communications Department uses an E-News format to deliver important information from various departments at Lake Forest High School throughout the school year. Parent "sign up" is essential to stay well informed. Each school year, it is important to update your account so you can receive customized e-news as it relates to your student's particular grade level! Be careful to select the correct student class. We have added an "8th Grade Students 2012-13, Class of 2017" category. Check the "Class of" year to ensure you are requesting the proper class specific information. To subscribe for the first time and/or to update your account preferences simply enter your email address into the "sign up for LFHS Email Newsletter" box found at www.lfhs.org.
LFHS Summer School and AP Summer Reading Book Sales will take place June 7-13. Parents and students interested in purchasing Summer School and AP Summer Reading textbooks may do so from June 7-13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Room 170 (The Resource Center). Cash or check payments will only be accepted, as there is no credit card machine available in the room. These sale dates are specifically tailored to allow the Bookstore to prepare used textbooks and to order new books for these courses. After the June 13, the Bookstore will not be open for any Summer School or AP Summer Reading sales.
Textbook information for Summer School and AP Summer Reading will be provided in a letter from the teacher. The Bookstore has a limited number of some of the required textbooks, however, almost all of these books are new. Come early during the sales to get the best quality of books. Like textbook purchases, participants are free to look elsewhere for textbooks if that presents a better option.
LFHS Transcript Office will be closed for the summer beginning June 9.
