The Lake Forest High School wrestling team will compete in an important meet at Lake Zurich on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Barrington next weekend, and the team champion will head to the dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports.
Lake Forest High School will face off against Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Cary-Grove, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Zurich, Palatine and Stevenson.
The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington.
The Feb. 2 meet starts at 9 a.m.
