Scouts’ Star Performer: Kat McKeon captured the all-around with a 9.425 average and took first on the uneven parallel bars with a 9.6.
Other Notable Scout Performances: Kylie Carlson grabbed first in vault with a 9.8 and in floor exercise with a 9.6.
What’s Next: The Scouts host their own invitational at 6 p.m. Saturday featuring last year's State champ, Carmel, Deerfield, Conant, Lake Park, Lyons, Prairie Ridge, Warren, St. Charles North, Vernon Hills and Niles North.
The Bottom Line: The Scouts are off to a go start for 2012, but this meet with give them a better barometer of how they measure up against state-caliber competition going forward.
