Libertyville resident Chris Kennedy has won the Democratic nomination and Gurnee resident Mike Nerheim has won the Republican nomination for Lake County State’s Attorney.
Kennedy received 57 percent or 1,4945 votes of the 25,960 votes cast.
Nerheim received 43 percent or 22,012 of the 50,600 votes.
