$3.1 millions is nice, but just wait until the Koch Brothers move in with $millions in support of their man Dold. Wisconsin is just a tip of the iceberg of out of state money changing the dynamics of a race and the will of the people. Over 70% of Gov. Walker's money was from out of State. Beyond that, after citizens united, we'll never really know where the money comes from out of fear of backlash.

Lord knows Gov..err..House Speaker Madigan has no say in the outcome of this election.

The headline for this article is a little misleading. It makes it sound like all $3.1 million will be spent on the 10th.

While RB complains about potential outsider money supporting Dold, he is quiet as a Church mouse about the outside money the DCCC is spending against Dold.

Madigan already had his say so in the outcome of this election when he arranged to have the district boundaries gerrymandered to give Democrats a bigger advantage than before.

The Boston Celtic's co-owner Stephen Pagliuca now serves as managing director of Bain Capital. The co-owner has given the maximum not only to President Obama's re-election campaign ($5,000), but also to the Democratic National Committee ($30,800) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee ($30,800).

Is this the practice that the Democratic campaign ads are so upset about? I guess they could give Mr. Pagliuca credit for the tens of thousands of jobs Bain Capital "created or saved" as at Staples, Guitar Center (Highland Park & Arlington Heights), and many other companies; while blaming Mr. Romney for the hundreds or thousands of jobs that were lost in Bain Capitals' turnaround strategy.

I wonder if Mr. Schneider, Ms. Duckworth, and Mr. Foster will refuse to accept money from the DNC and/or DCCC until they return the money received from Mr. Pagliuca. Maybe someone should ask them.

One only has to read the voting record of Dold to see that he is not who he says he is--he is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a moderate Republican. He learned from the master, Mark Kirk, that when your party doesn't need your vote for passage of their right-wing agenda, you can vote like a moderate and brag about it, but when it comes down to the wire, Dold is still owned by the Koch Brothers, and other super PACs, and his views coincide with the extreme elements of the Republican Party. It is truly amazing that they can "issues", but via the right-wing owned Supreme Court majority, super PACs most of whom are Republican can spend billions on their propaganda and that's just fine. Call Dold for what he is: a right-wing Republican. And speaking of "successes" like Staples and other big boxes, where the little guy has been pushed out, ask yourself how many actual full-time jobs were created, what kind of salary do the few who work there receive, do they get any benefits that are worthwhile, are most temporary so they don't have to pay benefits, and how many people actually work in their stores. These are the few "success" stories of Bain. Then ask yourself how many millions the CEO's at the top make at the expense of the few workers and their minute salaries.

Koch brothers are not interested in funding Dold. He can't vote their way if he wants to be reelected. They don't even have Dold on their radar according to Fox News Congressional report. I saw Fred Barnes speak in the loop in May and he agreed. I might vote against Dold, he hasn't brought jobs or money here.

The GOP promised jobs if we voted them in. They failed us. I expect my Congressman to better my district. That includes money and jobs Dold is a failure. I saw that Seals would of won the last election with 53% of the vote with the new map. We are now considered a lean Dem+6 district. We were a lean Dem+2 district.

Five and one-half trillion dollars!!! That is what President Obama has ADDED to the US DEBT so far. He is the biggest spender in human history. Before the Pelozzi Congress started the spending binge in January, 2007, President Bush's debt addition in 2006 was below 200 billion. Hopefully, the Republican Congress can continue to act as a STOP before there is a TOTAL collapse of the American economy. We need more Reps. like Joe Walsh in Congress. By the way, Rep. Walsh is holding town meetings every weekend. Where is Tammy Duckworth? Why won't she debate him frequently, or hold open meetings in the 8th District?

Wrong. Between the wars, tax cuts, unfunded prescription drug plan, Tarp, and other deficit increases Bush added 5 trillion. Mr. Obama spent to save the economy from the Bush fiasco. I he jad not saved hte auto industry there would have been even more horrible impact to the economy. If you think Joe Walsh is great,then I clearly know there's no way to convince you to change your radical ideology. Have at it.

When someone likes Joe Walsh and not the Eagles singer you know what they are about. Nothing more is needed. Non partisan Cook report has Duckworth leading by 14 points and PPP has the lead at 15 points. Interestingly Walsh is garnering 11% of the minority vote. I would of figured 1%.
