The Spirit of 67 Home Tour Committee received 178 entries for its coloring contest. Entries were judged by grade level and all winners received a $5 Sweet's of Lake Forest certificate.

An Incoming Fifth Grade Parent Orientation will be held from 10-11 a.m. May 2, and 7-8 p.m., in the Deer Path Middle School Auditorium. Parents of incoming fifth grade students are invited to hear a presentation regarding the educational and extracurricular opportunities available for your children next year at the DPM-East Campus. Parents of incoming fifth grade students are invited to "Get a Jump-start on Fifth Grade" from 9:30-11 a.m. May 8 in the Deer Path Middle School Haskins Center (7/8 side-west). A panel of seasoned middle school parents will answer questions about their experiences on the social transition into fifth grade. Topics range from snow pants to cell phones, from play dates to uptown outings. The APT Parent Awareness Team sponsors this event. Submit specific questions to parentawarenessd67@gmail.com.
