Patch Is Collecting Questions for Obama and Romney During the Next Presidential Debate

If you have a question for the candidates, submit it in the comments section below and it could be asked during the televised Oct. 16 Town Hall Presidential Debate.

If the Oct. 3 presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.

The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.

Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.

All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates.

The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.

Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

Romney: Do you think the handling of the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya was satisfactory, or do you think that the Government could have done more?

President Obama: You predicted that unemployment would be 5.5% if your Recovery and Reinvestment Plan was passed in early 2009. The plan was passed and you spent the $780 billion you had requested. Unemployment now sits at 7.8% and would be much higher if so many people hadn't simply given up.

Mr. President, how did you get that so wrong, and why should anyone trust your judgement in the future?

President Obama: When you passed ObamaCare you said that everyone could keep their present health care plan and that families would save $2,500 per household. Businesses are cancelling their health care coverage forcing workers to find their own plans, and so far it looks like it will cost the average family $2,500 MORE per household under ObamaCare.

Mr. President, how did you get that so wrong, and why should anyone trust your judgement in the future?
