More than 24,000 people lined the streets of Lake Bluff to take in one of the northern suburbs best parades around.

BayTree National Bank & Trust Company marched with Clydesdale horses in Lake Bluff's Fourth of July parade. Homeowners along the route were only too happy to spray down melting marchers with a hose.

Against Guns

I recorded channel 19 from 9:40-12:30 to watch the live coverage of the LB Parade. But when I got home to watch the coverage channel 19 was showing a school board meeting instead. Uh? Last night I turned on channel 19 to see when they are going to rebroadcast the parade, but what happened to the PowerPoint presentation slides of old? Could someone tell me why the parade wasn't covered live when in gazebo news and patch lake forest they had a link to watch it live. Someone told me that LF who video tapes the parade decided they didn't want to do it?

I believe there was a technical glitch with the live broadcast. Here is a link to the parade video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fYknP5Q3Js&list=UUuOgO_dW_54u_8luRgyhVwQ&index=1&feature=plcp
