Reports from Jan. 22-29.

LAKE BLUFF

Suspicious Circumstances

Officer responded to the 700 block of Birch Road Jan. 25 for a report of a male subject bringing garbage cans up to multiple residences. Officer met with the subject, who said he had done work for a few residents in town, and was now out of work. The man thought he would get his name out by bringing the garbage cans up to the residences, and they might hire him for landscaping work. Officer advised the man that he was not allowed to go onto private property and could not solicit for work without a permit. He was cleared and sent on his way.

No further court information was available.
