Speeding, Driving while License Revoked

John L. Hutchinson, 33, 2125 Sophia Drive, Matteson, Ill., was stopped for speeding Oct. 26 at the intersection of Routes 41 and 60. He was found to be driving without insurance and on a revoked driver's license for DUI. He was using an alias, driving a rental car under another person's name. He was released on a $25,000 recognizance bond pending an Oct. 26 court appearance.

DUI

Javier M. Cruz, 27, 2146 S. Cullerton, Chicago, was charged with DUI and DUI over .08, driving while his license is suspended, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, and obstructing identification Oct. 27. Cruz was stopped at Route 41 and Gage Road. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .303, had additional warrants for his arrest for DUI and no valid driver's license, and another warrent for failure to appear for driving while license suspended out of Cook County. He was held on warrants and a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 3 court appearance.
