With Highland Park's District 112 officially going on strike on Tuesday and the Lake Forest High School strike agreement being released just last week, teacher's strikes still remain fresh in many people's minds. So now's your chance to weigh in - do you think that the Lake Forest Education Association got a fair bargain in the strike agreement, or did the Board come out much further ahead?

The headline should read "Did the voters get a good deal?" Even before the strike, the teachers were getting one of the best deals in the State of Illinois.

Bias and Marco make a point that is necessary to discuss. All too often after a fire there is no concern for investigating the cause and preventing a recurrence. If we are truly concerned for the welfare of our children and ultimately our community, we need to work to solve the underlying reasons for the problem now. Unfortunately, what is now history will again repeat itself...

Still in disbelieve that the teachers would strike and then say its about the "children" For what they got, and how they did it, they should be ashamed of themselves.
