Lake Forest continues to be the home of one of the oldest continually running car shows in the country.
The 64th annual Antique Auto Show is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 22 at Deer Path Middle School, 95 W. Deerpath. Admission is $10 per person, and children under 10 are free.
Put on by the Antique Automobile Club of America Illinois Region and Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Rotary Club, this year's show American Luxury Cars of the 50's and 60's will feature up to 300 vintage cars and trucks that epitomized the American Dream of automobile ownership including Cadillac’s, Lincoln’s, Imperial’s, and Packard’s.
The Spot Light Show Tent will host interesting presentations where patrons can learn more about featured cars and owners share their personal experiences.

This year's fundraising will benefit "Equestrian Connection”, a Lake Forest charity that improves the quality of life of more than 220 individuals with disabilities, emotional illness, and paralysis through the use of highly trained horses, therapists, and volunteers.
Proceeds will also benefit the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Rotary Foundation in its 53 years of philanthropic efforts. Among those efforts is the Rotary Youth Exchange program, which allows a local student to live with host families abroad while an exchange student comes to Lake Forest and Lake Bluff to do the same.
