Lake Forest girls' hockey team celebrates its first state championship.

Date: March 13

The Final Score:  Lake Forest 4, Loyola Academy 1

Scouts’ Star Performer:  Bridget Roche scored a pair of goals, including one with less then 7 minutes to play to give Lake Forest a 4-0 cushion.

Other Notable Scout Performance: Goalie and captain Hannah Redden made 30+ saves. Jessica Gould and Lucy Baron also scored. Assists went to Haley Conroy, Marie Soukup, Kelsey Patten and Roche.

The Bottom Line: The Scouts avenged last year's 5-1 State championship loss to the NaperValley Warriors with a roster that features just one senior, Redden.
