Turelli Receives Endorsement from Taxpayers United of America
Lake Forest resident is Republican candidate for 58th district seat.
Republican State Representative candidate Lauren Turelli said Tuesday that she has been endorsed by the political action committee of Taxpayers United of America (TUA) in recognition of her pledge to fight tax increases
The Lake Forest resident is one of two Republican candidates vying in the 58th District. Current state rep Karen May will not be running for re-election. Turelli will be opposed in the March 20 primary by Lake Forest resident Mark Neerhof.
The Republican primary winner will face Scott Drury in the November election.
“Taxpayers United of America does a great service to the general public by simply asking all elected officials to sign a pledge not to raise taxes," said Turelli, a Lake Forest resident, in a press release.
"High taxes are killing the economy of Illinois because business owners are beginning to leave for other states that will not confiscate their revenues,” she added. “Taxpayers United puts all candidates on notice that their actions are being watched."

Has this person ever served in local government, e.g. a city council, a school board, a park district, even an advisory board? Does making or signing these types of pledges have anything to do with property taxes? Why can't I find a campaign web site?

This isn't school. Please don't ask me to do my homework. If she has a web site, I'd appreciate knowing it.
