Where to Watch the Bears Game on Sunday

A list of restaurants and bars in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Vernon Hills.

 

If you’re planning to catch the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers game at 2 p.m. this Sunday, and you’re not sure where to go to share in what is being billed as the game of the century, consider a list of eateries and bars that will be showing the game.

Most venues feature food or drink specials during the event.

The Lantern of Lake Forest, 768 N Western Ave., Lake Forest

Alek’s Restaurant, 525 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff

Alek’s is a family friendly restaurant and sports bar serving popular food dishes like burgers, pizza, chicken and fish. James Tavern is a popular local meeting place, and serves sandwiches, burgers, ribs and other classic bar-fare food. Sunday during the game, there will be specials on Miller products. (847) 234-0225

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 361 W.Townline Road, Vernon Hills

McCarthy’s Restaurant, 506 Hawthorn Center, Vernon Hills

McCarthy’s Irish Pub is located adjacent to Westfield Mall, and serves a full menu of food items like fish and chips, corned beef and ribs.
