Paleo Diet
The more I put together the building blocks of this diet it certainly seems to make a lot of sense. Eat Real Food. Not too much. Mostly Plants.
Less the Dairy and Grains that where introduced to the more Modern diet later on
Dairy Free - Man made and over adulterated - unless it is coming straight from the cow
Grain Free - Far from their original source and you know everyone is talking about the gluten thing
Taking away:
Processed Foods
Processed Sugars
Processed Fats
Processed Starches
Processed Oils
Leaving us with:
Meats
Fruits
Vegetables
Nuts and seeds
- Maintaining a healthy metabolism
- Getting rid of the junk! - The Food Like Substances that we all have been so used to eating!
- Reducing inflammation
- Great Recipes
- Loss of weight
- Etc.
What's left to think about?
Getting off those addicting Standard American Diet foods
What new recipes?
Moving over to a new life style and a new way of thinking
Getting over the road blocks and stubbornness of our old ways
Quality of what we are eating - Where should I buy my meat? Organic?
How much meat or fish?
What works for you?
It is a Process!
