Kids ages 7-13 can kick off the summer with an overnight “lock-in” party at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. This special event begins Saturday, June 9, at 5:30 p.m. and continues through Sunday, June 10, at 9 a.m.

The fun includes dinner Saturday evening, “glow” swimming in the Central Lake pool, games, movies and finally breakfast on Sunday morning. Children not wanting to stay overnight can be picked up by their parents Saturday at 10:30 p.m.
