Dr. John Jochem will share his expertise on adolescent development and grief/bereavement counseling from 7-9 p.m. March 12 at the high school's East Campus auditorium, 1285 N. McKinley Road.

The event is titled, "An Evening for Parents: Promoting Emotional Wellness in Adolescents: Awareness and Support", and is meant for just parents and interested adults from the community.
Dr. Jochem, president and founder of Hawthorn Counseling Group, has practiced as a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois since 1989, primarily in the Northern Lake County area.

More About Lake Forest High School
Originally built in 1935, with a campus on the east side of Lake Forest, the high school expanded to a second campus on the west side of town within the last three years. The east campus continues to act as the academic center, while the west campus is home to district offices and athletic facilities, including a football stadium, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields and tennis courts.
The Class of 2009 matched the previous all-time high composite for the ACT test with a mean score of 25.6, ranking the high school fifth statewide compared to other open enrollment public high schools. Ninety-one percent of the Class of 2009-10 enrolled in a four-year college.
