Musikgarten & Suzuki Methods: an Introduction
Join Music Institute of Chicago Musikgarten® and Suzuki Program Directors for an overview of these early childhood pedagogies. Plus, we'll touch on key research conclusions on brain and social beneifts associated with participation in early childhood music instruction and offer tips on how to support your child's home practice. A question/answer period follows, moderated by Music Institute Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Emily Abraham.

More About Music Institute of Chicago-Lake Forest Campus
Founded in 1931, the Music Institute of Chicago is a community music school with a campus in Lake Forest. MIC is dedicated to providing a foundation for lifelong enjoyment of music by offering high quality music education for students of all ages and ability levels. The Lake Forest Campus features 15 teaching studios used by about 40 faculty members throughout the week, as well as a performance space for school recitals, serving over 700 students offering private instruction, group instruction and ensemble programs
