Vernon Hills Y Hosts Preventive Physical and Medicare Exams Aug. 8

PathFinder Health, a national preventive health provider, will offer on-site preventive health physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits to the community at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, on Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 7 to 9:30 a.m. These exams are available at no cost to those with Medicare or commercial insurance. There is no co-pay or deductible. Medicare recipients need to have been in Medicare at least one year and have not had an annual wellness visit within the last 12 months.

Participants receive a personal report that outlines their current health and risk status and formulates a personal prevention plan. The exams also are ideal for people who don’t have a doctor or haven’t seen one in years.
