What's The Hottest Real Estate Trend? Buying Bank Owned Homes!

Who would have ever thought that buying bank owned real estate would turn into it's own industry and actually become a large percentage of all real estate sold in our market center.

Where Are They? Everywhere! Chicago-North Shore-North & Northwest suburbs.

What Types Of Properties? Single Family Homes, Condos, Townhomes, Lofts, 2-4 Unit Flats, and Land.

Price Ranges? As low as $100,000 to Millions of Dollars, just depends on the property, location, and condition.

Are They Really Sold At A Discount Price? Yes, bank owned foreclosures sell well below market value.

Who's Buying Them? A big majority are purchased by investors and builders followed by mainstream buyers that want to purchase a home to live in.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that people can only purchase bank foreclosures for cash, that's not true, these properties can be purchased with mortgage financing as long as the property is habitable as the majority are. The real opportunity is buying real estate at below market values and creating equity after restoring the property condition. Some just need paint or minor repairs, others need more work. At the end of the day it's a great deal based on the price point these properties are purchased at.

All I can tell you is buying bank owned real estate is hot and this opportunity as an investor or home buyer can't last forever, as nothing this good ever does.

Here Is Where You Can Actually See Listings Of Bank Owned Real Estate in Chicago, North Shore, North and Northwest Suburbs. Take A Look!
