Lake Forest High School Holds Block Scheduling Meetings

The high school will hold informational meetings about the possible schedule changes on Jan. 23 and Jan. 27.

Lake Forest High School will hold two informational meetings in the coming days to share information about the block scheduling options that the school is considering for adoption.

Models include schedules that would have students in fewer classes for longer periods each day.

“The impetus for the new school day initiative came from the work of our faculty, students, and Leadership Team. In many forms, the sentiment came across that there may be schedule models that better serve our students based on what we know about teaching and learning and what environment will help students be successful in high school and beyond,” according to the high school’s website.
