Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart will hold an open house Nov. 12. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. can tour the school, meet with teachers and coaches, and learn about the school's clubs and activities.
Woodlands Academy is a Catholic day and boarding college-preparatory high school for young women in grades nine through 12 that promotes academic, artistic and athletic excellence along with global awareness, social responsibility and strong faith. Its present enrollment is drawn from the greater Chicago area as well as several other states and international countries including China, Mexico, Malaysia, Poland, Philippines, Guatemala, England and Belgium.
Woodlands Academy is part of a worldwide network of Sacred Heart Schools that spans 19 cities in the United States and 44 countries around the world. Its students have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program allowing them to attend a quarter or a semester at one of the other Sacred Heart schools.
