Alpha Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Awards Grants

Alpha Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, local society of women educators, has given a grant to a high school or college education major for the past 3 years.  This grant is in memory of  Margaret Chickey, a graduate of Libertyville High School who was pursuing a career in education.  This year’s awardees are Hannah Bohn, an Antioch Community High School senior who plans to be a kindergarten teacher and Kathryn (Kasia) Tamaszynska, an Illinois Wesleyan senior who plans to be an ESL teacher. The grants were presented at the May 3 joint meeting with Beta Upsilon Chapter
