Color on Metal: Go Beyond Patinas!

If you really love color, but make jewelry in metal, there are options. No longer are your choices for finishes just shiny or satin. You can even bringing your drawing or painting skills to bear on your metalwork, and open up new possibilities for surface enrichment. This class will cover pretreating your completed metalwork to accept colored pencil, oil or acrylic paint, and how to mount it afterward. Other means of adding color will also be discussed, such as the popular new alcohol inks.
