It’s almost time for the Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade!

This year’s parade features such past favorites as the South Shore Drill Team, which marched in the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Parade, and the Lawn Mower Precision Drill Team. And one entrant that’s sure to be a big hit is the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile, making its first parade appearance.

Can you believe that it is almost July 4th?  With the kids out of school, summer is in full swing.  And those of us on the Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee want to give you a sneak peek into this year’s parade.

We’re excited to announce that this year we will have the one-and-only Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile.  After driving the parade route, the Weiner Mobile will station itself in Artesian Park for all to come and admire.

Our parade entries are at an all-time high! We’ll be in for some great entertainment with the amazing South Shore Drill Team, the Big Top Circus Band of Lake County, and two incredible bagpipe bands. 

We are pleased to announce that the sometimes outrageous but always eye-catching Lawn Mower Precision Drill Team will once again grace us with their presence in the parade.  What will they parody this year?  One can only imagine.
