Lake Forest College Richter Scholars to present summer research

Lake Forest College Richter Scholars will host a symposium on Wednesday, July 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Durand Art Institute on campus to present their summer research projects. Each year, a group of academically excellent students are selected to participate in the Richter Scholars Program after completing their first year of college. The program provides students with the opportunity to conduct independent, individual research with College faculty early in their academic careers. The goal of this program is to foster a strong commitment to the intellectual life, and to encourage participating students to consider careers in research and teaching.
Projects include "An analysis of pet food label usage" and “What the Authors Won’t Tell You: A Look Inside the World of Publishing." For a complete list of presentations, please go to http://www.lakeforest.edu/academics/students/richter/.
