Winnetka Summer Antiques Show Opens June 6, 2014

This summer, novice collectors and design aficionados will come together to peruse and purchase authentic antiques at the Winnetka Summer Antiques Show. Sponsored by the North Shore Antiques Dealers Association (NSADA), this three day event will take place June 6-8 at the Winnetka Ice Arena, 490 Hibbard Road, in Winnetka, Illinois.

 

50 knowledgeable  antiques dealers from across the United States and abroad will be showing their unique collection of books, ceramics, folk and fine art, furniture, jewelry, oriental rugs and more. With a wide variety of pieces from the 17th to 20th centuries, the Winnetka Summer Antiques Show will offer design options for a range of interests, tastes, and budgets.

 

“The Winnetka Summer Antiques Show offers patrons the perfect opportunity to explore a variety of objects offered by the industry’s most reputable dealers,” notes Judith Andersen, President of the NSADA and exhibitor at this year’s show. “Whether you are looking for an interesting new accent piece for your home or a stunning statement piece of jewelry, our experienced dealers will meet and interact with attendees, making this a fun and educational event to explore.”

 

The Winnetka Summer Antiques Show takes place Friday, June 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, June 8, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $12 for adults and free for children under 12.

 

Funds raised at the 2014 North Shore Antiques Dealers Association Winnetka Summer Antiques Show will benefit Lambs Farm, a premier nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people with developmental disabilities lead productive and happy lives.
