Art, Safety and Team-Building After School Activities this Fall

Lake Forest and Lake Bluff have a wide array of after school activities for your child this fall.

Looking for a safe place to send your child after school? Lake Forest and Lake Bluff have a variety of youth programs that will enrich and entertain students with team building, safety or artistic activities.

CROYA

CROYA gives teens and children a safe place to spend time with friends outside of school. Youth are welcome to stop by or sign up for CROYA activities.

Lake Forest Boy Scout Troop 48 has team-building activities every month, as well as camping trips throughout the year. Boy Scouts will  have the chance to canoe, fish, whitewater raft, spelunk, shotgun & rifle shoot on camping outings. Activities include participation in broom ball and parades. Service projects include helping with Lake Forest Days and decorating downtown Lake Forest with greens for the holidays, decorating with flags on U.S. holidays and maintaining Waukegan Road.

 

Cub Scouts - Pack 148 (Everett)

Boys in 1st- 5th grade are invited to join cub scout pack 148, which meets at Everett Elementary once per month to share ideas, learn new skills and celebrate achievements.

 

Deer Path Art League

The Deer Path Art League offers an Afterschool Art Club for students in grades K- 6. Students will primarily learn about drawing and will have a project each week.

 

Gorton Community Center 

Children are invited to a variety of youth programs, such as fine and performing arts classes and safety awareness programs at Gorton Community Center.
