Community Thanksgiving Service

A COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 24 at 10:00am in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest (corner of Deerpath and Sheridan Roads). The entire community is warmly invited to this service of thanks to God for the blessings we have. Worship will be led by pastors and members of Church of the Holy Spirit, First Presbyterian and  St. James Lutheran Church. Reverend Richard Holmer, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, will preach. Combined adult choirs from all three churches will lead music under the direction of Tom Tropp with organist Jill Hunt of First Presbyterian Church. Communion will be served. A free will offering will be received and given to North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP) which provides coordination for local congregations to be directly involved in enriching the education of North Chicago students. Fellowship follows the service. For information call First Presbyterian  Church 847.234.6250.
