Grace United Methodist to Launch New, Interactive Curriculum

The new programming will be announced during Grace United's homecoming celebration Sept. 9.

Grace United Methodist Church is inviting residents to meet its new pastor and peruse its new interactive curriculum during its Homecoming Celebration Sunday Sept. 9.

The event begins with a worship service at 10 a.m., followed by an open house "for families with children and youth to Sunday school with Scavenger Hunt and pot-luck luncheon at 11 a.m." according to a church press release.

“We are launching a new, interactive curriculum that utilizes a variety of stations to experience Bible stories in depth,” said Christine Hides, Director of Christian Education, in the press release. “Our Growing in Grace  program uses art, music, storytelling, science, games, cooking, video and computer stations to share the Bible with children.”
