Kiwanis Club of Lake Bluff/Lake Forest Celebrates 90 Years

Special vehicle stickers will recognize the long history of the Kiwanis Club.

The Kiwanis Club of Lake Bluff/Lake Forest was founded on March 15, 1923. To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the organization, an event was recently held at the Village Grill.

Current and former Kiwanis members enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and dinner on March 7, sharing stories and experiences through the years.

A special vehicle sticker will soon be available for cars in Lake Bluff to recognize the long history of the Kiwanis Club.

The Kiwanis Club is known for its annual Pancake Breakfast and Breakfast with Santa, among other activities. The Kiwanis organization is: "a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time" according to their website www.KiwanisLBLF.org.
