Lake Forest Temperature Climbs Above 0

Temperatures reached above zero Tuesday for the first time in about 40 hours.

The Lake Forest area is experiencing positive temperatures for the first time in nearly 40 hours as the mercury hovered around to 3 above zero this afternoon according to the National Weather Service.

Though the wind chill is 9 below zero, the current forecast no longer calls for sub zero temperatures in the seven-day predictions with a high of 12 Wednesday.

Schools and other organizations are expected to be open Wednesday.
