Letter to the Editor: Sandy Hart for Lake County Board

Mary Jo Stevenson of Lake Bluff throws her support behind Sandy Hart for County Board.

October 15, 2012

I am writing to strongly recommend Sandra Hart for Lake County Board in the 13th District. Sandy is an effective grassroots community leader who commits herself fully to the causes she believes in.

Sandy is a strong environmentalist and has worked on many different environmental projects, earning her the endorsement of the Sierra Club and the Lake County Farm Bureau. She spearheaded the successful effort to fund a much-needed new elementary school with a LEED environmental certification for Lake Bluff children. As a resident of Lake Bluff for 28 years and an educator in Lake Bluff District #65 since 1980, I witnessed Sandy’s commitment to our schools and community. She is a leader with integrity! Sandy is also a school volunteer and well as Vice President of the Lake Bluff Park Board of Commissioners and is involved in a number of other local organizations.

As a County Board representative, Sandra Hart will give the same dedication and commitment to all the residents of the district that she has shown in her other community work. I urge you to vote for Sandra Hart on November 6.
